有句經(jīng)典古訓(xùn)叫“少不入川、老不入廣”，這恰恰是我的基本經(jīng)歷。我在安徽長大和讀完大學(xué)，但是在廣東讀研究生和接受成長鍛煉，今年我又參加了三所大學(xué)的博士入學(xué)考試，我最終選擇了四川大學(xué)，或者說是四川大學(xué)接納了我，是四川大學(xué)“海納百川、有容乃大”的校訓(xùn)和基本精神把我吸納和包容到這里來，讓我達(dá)到了人生的一個頂峰。我想在未來三年內(nèi)從身心、學(xué)習(xí)、科研、教學(xué)、社交和財務(wù)六個方面進(jìn)行規(guī)劃和重點(diǎn)努力，達(dá)到人生的理想狀態(tài)，迎接人生的'下一個顛峰狀態(tài)。我的導(dǎo)師是天津人，我會首先全面準(zhǔn)確地領(lǐng)會導(dǎo)師的學(xué)術(shù)思想的追求目標(biāo)，可以說是我將完整地經(jīng)歷中國的東部，南方、西部和北方，屆時我可以自豪地說：“我將成為一名標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的中國人”。
我這次報名首選的是學(xué)術(shù)部，其次是博士部。我想選擇來四川大學(xué)讀博士的大都有扎扎實(shí)實(shí)做學(xué)問的學(xué)術(shù)理想，要想順利地從四川大學(xué)博士畢業(yè)也有在CSSCI公開發(fā)表三篇論文的基本要求。搞好學(xué)術(shù)是博士生的共同任務(wù)，在這方面我的自信還要稍微多一點(diǎn)，其中的一個重要原因在于我親眼目睹了我的兩位研究生同學(xué)公開發(fā)表文章超過50篇，我同樣不敢置信的是我的一位大學(xué)同學(xué)已經(jīng)在《經(jīng)濟(jì)研究》、《管理世界》等經(jīng)管類頂尖刊物上發(fā)表文章。我在來四川大學(xué)之前還專門對他們進(jìn)行了一次告別旅行和訪問，向他們承諾此次我來四川大學(xué)讀博士的一個重要使命就是要重現(xiàn)他們的學(xué)術(shù)輝煌。當(dāng)然我非常清楚以我現(xiàn)在的基礎(chǔ)，這個過程將會是相當(dāng)?shù)钠D辛和曲折，現(xiàn)在只是萬里長征才邁出了第一步。要實(shí)現(xiàn)目標(biāo)，除了勤奮，恐怕需要更多地講究方法、技巧和充分發(fā)揮自身的潛能。這個過程越是艱辛我越是感覺到有必要參加到研究生會學(xué)術(shù)部中來，以自己宏大的學(xué)術(shù)目標(biāo)、明確的前進(jìn)方向再加上腳踏實(shí)地的努力在研究生群體中形成一種發(fā)奮投身于學(xué)術(shù)的氛圍。我也會在努力服務(wù)大家的同時廣泛汲取大家的智慧，從而讓自己更加有力量、行動得更快。對于讀博士的同學(xué)來說都不是很年輕了，博士對社會的貢獻(xiàn)首要在于學(xué)術(shù)，博士同學(xué)們的學(xué)以致用、務(wù)實(shí)和盡力解決現(xiàn)實(shí)問題同樣可貴，沿著這條主線可以更快的讓學(xué)術(shù)造福生活和服務(wù)社會，讓理想融進(jìn)現(xiàn)實(shí)。
我的個性是人如其名，心平氣和，心態(tài)很好，很容易和別人打交道，和我相處也沒有什么壓力，群眾基礎(chǔ)非常牢靠。但我這兩年做輔導(dǎo)員更多的收獲是遇到了一位優(yōu)秀的搭檔，他曾經(jīng)被評選為廣東省優(yōu)秀輔導(dǎo)員，我向他學(xué)習(xí)了很多舉辦會議、活動策劃、干部培養(yǎng)、組織協(xié)調(diào)、演講寫作和宣傳聯(lián)絡(luò)方面的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，所以我現(xiàn)在做事非常有計劃、有條理和注重細(xì)節(jié)。我希望進(jìn)入研究生會后好好地向你們學(xué)習(xí)，使自己的辦事能力進(jìn)一步地鍛煉和提高。

Good morning, everyone! I am glad to be here for this interview. First, let me introduce myself to you. My name is Qin Jiayin. I was born on April 23, 1981. I am a local person. I am graduating from Jilin Normal University this June. I major in Chinese literature. Reasons for taking postgraduate exams:
First of all, I love my major. Chinese literature is the symbol of the start of Chinese literary modernization. It plays an important part in modernization of our citizens thoughts.
What’s more, modern literature is very close to our daily life and it can deeply reflect the styles and features of our society. I am fascinated by the great masters refreshing or warm or profound styles as well. But I am not easily satisfied with such superficial knowledge. I hope I could have a better understanding in modern literature by studying further. This is a very important reason for me to take the postgraduate exams.
Next, I love the feeling in the university. It is full of youthful spirit. And I am deeply attracted by the scholarly atmosphere. And the most important, it’s my great honor to open my ears to your teaching.

i am a third year master major in automation at shanghai jiao tong university, p. r. china. with tremendous interest in industrial engineering, i am writing to apply for acceptance into your ph.d. graduate program.
education background
in 1995, i entered the nanjing university of science & technology (nust) -- widely considered one of the china’s best engineering schools. during the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. i was granted first class prize every semester,in 1999, i got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.
at the period of my graduate study, my overall gpa(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. in the second semester, i became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. this year, i won the acer scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade fordistinguished students endowed by my university. presently, i am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of excellent graduation thesis.
research experience and academic activity
when a sophomore, i joined the association of ai enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. with the tool of opengl and matlab, i designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. it is now widely used by different research groups in nust. i assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for nanjing sewage treatment plant. this was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.
in retrospect, i find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the ph.d. program. my future research interests include: network scheduling problem, heuristic algorithm research (especially in ga and neural network), supply chain network research, hybrid system performance analysis with petri nets and data mining.

First, let me introduce myself briefly. My name is Shirley Guo, which is Guoxueli in Chinese. I am 22 years old, born in Zichang country, Shaanxi Province. I’m studying at Xi’an jiaotong University. I major in e-commerce with a minor in law. In order to improve my English and master fundamental knowledge of computer application, I have passed CET6, the C++ language examination in the National computer Rank Examination Level2 and the database examination in the National computer Rank Examination Level3 with a ease. I always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. The scholarships I have won during these years could certificate that I work hard.
I am very easy to get on with, so I have lots of friends. And I am optimistic for that I believe in the end thing will mend. Sometimes I prefer staying alone, reading, watching movies, listening to music or surfing the Internet.
