And what we're looking for is news stories that might still matter 50 or 100 or 10,000 years from now. And when you look at the news through that filter, a lot falls by the wayside.

　　3.I love trees, and I'm very lucky, because we live near a wonderful arboretum, and Sundays, usually, I'd go there with my wife and now, with my four-year-old, and we'd climb in the trees, we'd play hide and seek. The second school I was at had big trees too, had a fantastic tulip tree, I think it was the biggest in the country, and it also had a lot of wonderful bushes and vegetation around it, around the playing fields.

　　I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. Man’s life is a proceof growing up, actually I’m standing here is a growth. If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for me. When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job. Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these proceI will combine learning with doing. If I can achieve this “future”, I think that I really grow up. And I deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will perfection and happy in the future. How to say future? 　　和平在任何語言中都是一個(gè)說起來很容易的詞。作為聯(lián)合國秘書長，我從不同的語言和不同的地方經(jīng)常聽到它，以至于有時(shí)在我看來，和平這個(gè)詞多多少少是失去了其真實(shí)意義的.口頭禪。我們所說的和平的真正含義是什么？ As clothes, food, shelter and travel are the four elements for life;

　　we can not live without one of them. So is the case with other living things. Maybe other living things can live without one of them, but they are not particular about that much. Bacterium is very tiny living things, like a baby in them. What does the baby have to wear? What does the baby have to eat? Where does the baby live? How does the baby move? We would like to know about these. 衣食住行是人生的四件大事，一件都不能缺少。不但人類如此，就是其他微生物也何曾能缺少一件，不過沒有人類這樣講究罷了。細(xì)菌是微生物，是生物中的小寶寶。這位小寶寶穿的是什么？吃的是什么？住在那里？怎樣行動？我們倒要見識見識。
